THE FACIAL is available in two strengths - Low and High. The difference between the two is in the percentage of acids used, and subsequently, the product's pH.
LOW is ideal for those with thinner skin. It incorporates 20% of the Triple Acid Exfoliation Blend and has a pH of 4.2 - 4.5.
HIGH is ideal for those with thicker skin. It incorporates 30% of the Triple Acid Exfoliation Blend and has a pH of 3.5 - 3.7

THE FACIAL does not cause photosensitivity; however, the superficial exfoliation achieved with the formula exposes a thinner and less protected skin, leaving it more receptive to the sun. Because of this, AYUNA recommends daily use of non-chemical sun protection or avoid prolonged sun exposure while using the product to minimize the risk of sun sensitivity/sunburn.

Triple exfoliation
The facial incorporates a trio of exfoliating acids (30%), combining Succinic Acid obtained from corn, with glutamic alpha-amino acid extracted from cassava and acetic acid from raspberry vinegar. Housed in a colloidal system (powder-in-lotion) that gradually releases the acids to prevent discomfort while maintaining an optimum pH range to effectively renew and smooth skin texture.
