Description

Reminiscent of Arabian-style Oud, Shahada combines the interplay of insistent and persistent leather to hint at the Middle Eastern sailors and traders who brought messages of faith to the Malay archipelago in the earliest Mohammedan days. Now and then warm tints of cardamom and spice blow gently in the wind as their ships approach the Melaka port as they bring myrrh, labdanum, and cedarwood in exchange for oud, benzoin, and black pepper.
