Description

Merong Mahawangsa eau de Parfum takes its form as a classic chypre with elements of woody incense and hints of floral. The perfume reimagines the beginnings of Merong Mahawangsa, a prince of Alexander the Great’s lineage who fills the room with subtle power rather than a deafening roar. The prince set sail from Rome towards China in a trail of light bergamot and lavender, while understated labdanum dance to the prince's buoyant wooden ship, sailing the perilous oceans . 

As his entourage cautiously neared a sweet-scented, tranquil Strait, his ship was attacked by a colossal phoenix. The prince was saved by a people who lived there, in a land without a king. The land was Ptolemy's Golden Chersonese. His princely persona led him to be crowned as Merong Mahawangsa, king of his new state, Langkasuka (Land of Happiness). Decades later, he returned to Rome but his longing for Langkasuka remained, a faint shimmer in the background like the restrained yearning for his beloved magical kingdom.
