Description
Description
Jasmin is one of the soliflores created in 1937 by Paul Vacher, who enjoyed experimenting with different compositions. Much later, Rodrigo Florès-Roux discovered the perfume when his English teacher wore it, lighting in him a fiery admiration for this chypre floral scent. It was with great pleasure and trembling excitement that he reworked the fragrance for Le Galion in 2020.
A word from our perfumer
“This fragrance is very dear to me. It is an immense privilege to get to know it so intimately, taking it apart to patiently build it back up again, recreating its aura and contributing, as I have, to its re-release. Of course, the jasmine takes centre stage, but the darker tones of patchouli, moss and leather make it resonate like clever, but also devilishly savage chypre – without the rose.”
